In 2006, Ohio Family Realty, Inc. made a conscious and measurable decision to be good stewards of the land surrounding all our homes. They began investing money to be used for land procurement, the planting of tree seedlings and the building of a picnic pavilion.

In the fall of 2007, Ohio Family Realty, Inc. secured an 8.9 acre parcel of land from Dale & Nancy Cather and the Cather Family Trust. The purpose of this land transfer was to provide a private retreat that would be protected from future development. For every client who buys or sells a home with Ohio Family Realty, Inc., a tree is planted in their name within this spacious preserve.

*According to research, a large tree releases .31 kilograms of oxygen per day. In one year an acre of trees can provide enough oxygen for 18 people. Trees absorb pollutant gases and filter particulates out of the air. Trees absorb nitrogen oxides, ammonia, sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide from the atmosphere while releasing oxygen back into the air.
